Enough is enough. We moved here 34 years ago and whilst we appreciate housing is essential why oh why is it proposed in an area where the roads can no longer cope with the amount of traffic on them. To get from Rayleigh to Hawkwell now we are lucky if we are not queueing from Hambro Hill into Hockley. The same applies when going from Rochford to Ashingdon. Perhaps someone from your planning department should try on a prime time such as a school run to get through from Ashingdon to Rochford, Good luck!!!!
