As a resident of Rayleigh since childhood right through to now raising my own family. I feel lucky enough to be able to have access to local amenities as well as green space. Unlike other surrounding towns, eg. Southern, Basildon etc Rayleigh still maintains a perfect balance of both and is not too over developed. The easy walking access to green areas especially with the other and younger generations is priceless which was especially during the last 18 months. I would like to see I improvements made the the town centre eg. Growing number of empty shops or lack of variety of shops rather than building more houses.
