Posts on social media sites clearly show that village residents are passionate about Kendall Park. The playing field and playground are always in use. There is very little public green space in Hullbridge, so these existing areas are important to give villagers access to the outdoors for recreational activity. There are a few footpaths which cross Cracknell's Farm and other fields, if these areas were not farmland then they would be less pleasant areas to walk.
