New Local Plan: Spatial Options Document 2021

Representation ID: 37862

Received: 11/08/2021

Respondent: Mr Richard Warren

Representation Summary:

Describing Hockley and Hawkwell as a gateway does seem appropriate given the number of vehicles which pass through on the way to Ashingdon, Rochford and beyond. Unfortunately the road network cannot support this statement as evidenced by the queues during rush hour and the number of reoccurring potholes. Therefore a comment on how this area can continue to be a viable gateway given these issues would be useful, especially with more traffic as a result of planned developments.
