There are no areas around this historic village that should be built on in terms of housing. This is lazy planning, purely for financial gain, without a thought for an historic community or the surrounding meadow & marshland wildlife. Whilst their are sites in and around the Rochford District that have already been developed or old commercial sites that can be utilised. Instead, to buy cheaper agricultural land, change its use and build on a flood plain, despite the devastation to the village & its wildlife smacks of a disregard for the wishes of the very people you should represent
