Hawkwell could do with some more shops in my opinion. And another GP surgery and a dentist. Also more recreational areas. I think something like a farmpark, something for the local people toenjoy. I don't believe in ANY MORE HOUSES THOUGH because the road network cannot cope with it.
As I;ve said before I'm all for some houses being built but it would have to be in an area where roads could cope and I think that it would have to have IT'S OWN INFRUSTRUCTURE.
I don't gree with any more houses to be built in hockley or hawkwell due to the ROADS NOT BEING ABLE TO COPE WITH THEM..I believe the roads cannot cope with the traffic at the moment. The only way to get out of hockley isby greensward rd into ashingdon rd. which isn't good. Or through Hawkwell into Hall rd which takes you back to Ashingdon rd. O r right into Cherry orchard way which takes you to te A127 which is a nightmare at any time. Or through Eastwood which is another nightmare. . I believe that Hockley has a decent amount of shops and schools and dentists. GPs on the other hand in my opinion seem thin on the ground and could do with more. And maybe more things to do recreationally and more outdoor amenities. But definately NO MORE HOUSES.
