All the areas of marsh and meadowland in and around Stambridge need to be protected from development. We need to be an example as a borough to all those that would take the cheap and lazy option, that we take environmental and species protection seriously. It doesnt stop at buying an electric car next time round, we need to find alternative areas to build that will not result in the destruction of one of the most ecologically diverse areas we have. This can be the Conservative party's disgrace or their flagship depending on the choices made here
