South West Rayleigh
The land between Gt Wheatley Road and Spring Gardens in Rayleigh, is rich in wildlife and flora and fauna and forms a heathland landscape virtually adjacent to Rayleigh town centre. This unique area should be preserved as a local wildlife site.
We can personally attest to prescence of PROTECTED Badgers (sighted ) and foxes and smaller mammals, birds and other fauna as well as countless trees and plants- an increasingly threatened resource for the area
This environmental oasis between town and intensively farmed land beyond should remain undisturbed.
