8.47 Flooding can result in significant damage to properties and threaten human life. To counteract these risks, the NPPF requires that flood risk is taken into account at all stages of the planning process.
8.48 We seek to avoid inappropriate development by appraising, managing and reducing the risk in areas prone to flooding, ... the Core Strategy. Policy ENV3 enforces the principle that we seek to direct development away from areas at risk of flooding.
How has this been addressed for the current 500 houses to be built in Hullbridge and how has it been addressed for any further building?
