I tend to think option 1 addressees more of the problems/issues with the Market Square, but I think significant problems have not been addressed.
1. While I agree a) that there should be less parking/waiting areas for taxis in the square, but there must be some (ie as in option 1 not 2).
b) that the bus route and bus stop in West Street must be retained (ie as in both options).
c) that some provision of parking in the Market Square helps local traders (I do not think complete pedestrianisation is a sensible step from any point of view).

As requested I enclose my comments on the two options put forward to Rochford Market Square, as part of the Rochford Area Action Plan Focussed Changes consultation.
I would be grateful if this representation and each of my comments could be taken into account, before further steps are taken in this matter.
