I think option 1 is the best of the 2 options offered, but with double yellow lines on both sides of West Street from the entrance at Horners Corner to 1 or maximum 2 car lengths from the entrance to the car park, but this must be reinforced by a camera or more traffic wardens. I feel this would make West Street much safer for pedestrians and much more free flowing for all through traffic
