I applaud the decision to protect our green belt areas and make use of the available brown belt areas.
I would suggest that we protect our green verges and pavements from being trampled by irresponsible drivers.
A system in Hawkwell fining drivers for such action has worked I am advised. We have proper allocated places to park, of course we have to pay so why not those who abuse the area, the reason being they are damaged council property!
Respect our town and countryside.
