Respondent: Miss Nicola Rawlinson

Representation Summary:

I strongly object to this location being used to relocate Rawreth Industrial Estate. This would be an unncessary loss of agricultural land. I am concerned about the increased traffic on the already congested road network especially at peak time, the pollution and the negative impact this would have on the primary school and residential areas which are in close proximity. An industrial site here would destroy this gateway to Rayleigh with views to extending to Rettendon Church, Holy Trinity Church and Rayleigh Windmill. This open countryside in green belt land should be preserved.
