The taxi rank in the middle of the High Street is too large. Relocation of the Taxi rank should be to a part of the Webster Way car park. This would free up the High Street area for more pedestrianisation and enable the market to move to the area. The current market area is not integral to the current core area and must be brought in to create a vibrant feel to the town...for days other than the Wednesday market day..why not have a market area for 2/3 days a week...?
