With regards to the proposed sites West of Rayleigh and Hullbridge,(which are actually in Rawreth) the plan is unsound, unsustainable and contrary to Policy H1 and guidance under the East of England Plan in that these are almost entirely on greenbelt farmland when brownfield sites are available. Infrastructure is inadequate for current demand, particularly roads, transport and sewerage/run-off. This plan would virtually treble the population of Rawreth and increase dependence on private vehicles which would result in gridlock of London Road, Rawreth Lane and surrounding feeder roads.
