The residents of Hockley have already requested the provision of cycle lanes and appropriate access points - Hockley to Rayleigh and Hockley to Rochford and to all schools in Hockley. The response is that there is no space for continuous stretches.
Space will not magically appear so it is not possible for this part of the Core Strategy to be implemented.
