I wish to formally record my objection to the expansion. Comments are that the plan is ill conceived insofar as the airport is situated in the middle of the densest population area. The increased noise pollution and traffic generated will be detrimental to the quality of life of residents and will produce little or no compensating benefit. As my house is situated under the flight path, I wish to formally record that in the event of the expansion proceeding I shall seek compensation for loss of value to my house and a council tax reduction.
