Disagree - it is of CONSIDERABLE local historical significance as the railway was responsible for changing Rayleigh fron an agricultural village to a prosperous residential Town. For consistency if Rochford Railway Station (page 251) IS included why not Rayleigh (and Hockley) The 2 storey house on the right was the Station masters house.
