After looking at the plan councillors thought that Spa Road in Hockley will need to be improved especially if the redevelopment of Eldon Way goes ahead.

Members are not knowledgeable in legal matters and therefore cannot provide legal views on compliance or soundness of changes. What they can say is set out below and they ask that you take due cognizance of their comments.

Appendix CSSC1
Policy H1 - The efficient use of land for housing.
Due consideration must be given to businesses and employment opportunities in Hockley associated with the redevelopment of Eldon Way/Foundry Industrial Estate.
