Appendix CSSC1
Policy H1 - The efficient use of land for housing.
Due consideration must be given to businesses and employment opportunities in Hockley associated with the redevelopment of Eldon Way/Foundry Industrial Estate.

Appendix CSSC2
Policy H2 - Extensions to residential envelopes and phasing
Councillors feel that the infrastructure will not be able to cope with the increase of through traffic that the extra housing will generate. First phases appear all central and they ask that you ensure infrastructure is provided prior to any development otherwise they cannot support the schedule of changes.

After looking at the plan councillors thought that Spa Road in Hockley will need to be improved especially if the redevelopment of Eldon Way goes ahead.
