This site is not appropriate for gypsy or traveller accommodation. It has been granted temporary and personal permissions in consideration of the special personal circumstances of the people who moved onto the site. It has not been objectively or specifically selected as a suitable site for such accommodation. Ashinddon Parish Council have in the past objected to all planning applications for such a use. Gypsy families who have occupied this site have not integrated into the local community. This site would not normally be allocated for residential development; it is in the Green Belt and accessed by an unmade road.
