Policy LS2 - Development at London Southend Airport

Representation ID: 11894

Received: 13/05/2009

Respondent: Austins

Representation Summary:

Unless the operator was able to maintain the various levels as they are currently I do not see why any expansion should be allowed.

In addition I do not think such levels should be accepted just by the Councils but voted on by all who are entitled to vote in local elections.

Indeed one proviso should be that a referendum is held so the decision can be voted on by all locals.

Policy LS6 - Runway Extension

Representation ID: 11907

Received: 13/05/2009

Respondent: Austins

Representation Summary:

Runway extension will just make matters worse for local business not involved in the airport - and has any thought been given to the fact that two large graveyards and the crematorium will no longer be the quiet places where family can spend a few quiet moments?
