50 houses are proposed for West Hockley but no details given of road improvements. These houses will presumably use Folly Lane with its horse-riders, S bends and poor junction with B1013 and narrow bridge under the railway. No costing are provided but improvements are unlikely to be economically viable

There are many empty shops across the district and changed shopping habits, with increased use of supermarkets, needs to be considered.

The only two cross-district bus services (nos 7 & 8) are being cut by about 50% in Feb 2009 to just one an hour each.
Small, scattered housing developments do not generate sufficient additional traffic to cost justify additional services.
No information is provided on how new services will be provided.

Infrastructure proposals will be paid for by use of "standard charges". No details given of how this will work or likely levels. Costs may render small locations un-viable.
No explanation of how indirect enhancements will be paid for eg Hockley will suffer extra traffic from surrounding parishes but no road improvements considered.
