Having recently visited "Moats & Springs", I feel that the farmhouse & adjacent barn are worthy contenders for inclusion in the Local List. The buildings date back many centuries, & have been sympathetically restored by the current owner. They are off the beaten track & can easily be overlooked, but are of local interest, & should be respected as such.
Has any research been done on the property?

1. Moats and Springs - there is access and should be included as this property is a fine example of a 17th century building
2. Stambridge Memorial Hall should be included as this is a WW1 Memorial Hall with Memorial Stone and has a vaulted oak ceiling.
3. The original stone bridge sited on the Stambridge Road as you enter the Village Centre should be in the Local List. Stambridge was originally known as Stone Bridge after this bridge, so has some historic value.
