transform the old station masters house into the cafe, newsagent etc downstairs. Upstairs have a heritage centre, with wall panels giving history of town, maps, things to do etc. Have seen this work very successfully in other parts of the country and it does not need to be staffed if the info is presented correctly.
also have better access from the street level to car park
