Rochford should build upon its rich historical heritage and links to the Tudor era (Boleyn Family) and in order to exploit its links with the period, encourage more themed curiosity/gift/antique shops/historical interest venues/mini museums of life in the Tudor period/ themed cafes & restaurants offering period goods & services but with a modern level of service & comfort...We should aim to try and develop venues that offer a focus for attracting local tourism/families on a day-out looking for local attractions on their doorstep....
