Hockley Area Action Plan - Issues and Options

Representation ID: 9259

Received: 28/04/2009

Respondent: Mr Roy Munro

Representation Summary:

The content of the first section of the table are critical. Hockley is a village and must stay that way. The village scene must be preserved. Any improvemnts must be in concert with it staying a small village, there is no interest in disproportionate devlopment. Again, it seems that the desires of residents to improve the area is mis-interpreted, we want do not want to rebuild the whole place. All we want are some improvements in keeping with the village look and feel.
Residents have no desire to flatten it (as the council seem to be suggesting)
