Hockley Area Action Plan - Issues and Options

Representation ID: 9199

Received: 28/04/2009

Respondent: Maria/Edmund Tugwell

Representation Summary:

As a cyclist who travels through Hockley center often, I would like to say that the village center should be more cycle-friendly, and improvements should consist of more than a larger number of places to park bikes.

Either the pavement should be a shared pedestrian-cycle path route like many towns in Germany have, or there ought to be a designated cycle route by the road leading through the village.

Extra cycle paths leading out of the center to the outskirts of the village via the major routes would also help.
