I'm not sure why people said that there were too many charity shops in Hockley - They stay in buisness and have been for the past several years because people obviously shop from them. Besides this, 3 charity shops is hardly "too many" - And is it really possible to have too much of a good thing anyway?
People talk about re-using and re-cycling, which is what charity shops encourage. So it does not make sense to want to go against or remove them.
