I am concerned about the scale of the planned development. Hockley is a village which is what a lot of people like about living there. The size of the large store being proposed will alter the whole balance of the shops. Even with a larger food shop than present a lot of people will still do a weekly shop at a large out of town supermarket. I believe you could improve Hockley without potentially ruining it.
