Hockley Area Action Plan - Issues and Options

Representation ID: 8929

Received: 23/04/2009

Respondent: Mr Richard Pryor

Representation Summary:

Under which decision was Hockley designated as a Town instead of being a VILLAGE which it still is. Does this give the council greater powers to alter the nature of the existing buildings.
As a VILLAGE it already has a small supermarket which is sufficient for its normal needs. The available space should be used for additional small shops and free parking restricted to a one hour stay.
