Hockley Area Action Plan - Issues and Options

Representation Summary:

Re shops
Thinking of Hockley as a village it does not surprise me that there is not a wide range of shops.
The shops that stay are the ones we frequent.
If I want clothes etc I travel to the local towns ie Rayleigh or Southend.
I am happy with the size of supermarket we currently have. I shop there for groceries almost exclusively. Having one three times larger would just make it take longer to shop.
Re traffic
It can be difficult to come out of Woodlands Road at the Spa Roundabout. It is equally difficult turning right from Hockley Rise onto Main Road.
