A more holistic approach is required to consider the town centre as a whole. Omissions include the shops opposite Potters, the (empty) shops & woodyard on Main Rd. The small strip of land with single storey shops on the SE side of Spa Road is unsuitable for two story buildings. Space needs to be created for road improvements, particularly Spa Junction.
