We are quite happy with Hockley as it is - it just needs a bit of refurbishment to make the shop fronts more attractive. All that I can see that you will achieve is a huge amount of disruption and inconvenience for the residents while you are doing it, and a greater opportunity for the kids to gather in even greater numbers in the open spaces that you will create. You are better speding money on facilities for the kids, to keep tham off the streets and occupied!
