I object to local taxpayers becoming burdened with costs for improving local infrastructure & services that will be required for any planned expansion of Southend Airport. Given the current uncertain economic climate and the proximity of Rochford/Southend to an already developed Stansted Airport, there is a serious risk of a negative impact on any private investment undertaking a lengthy expansion ptrogramme.
