I see no mention in this plan of King George's fields Ashingdon.
This was land set asid in perpetuity for the community. Ashingdon does not have much but to not even mention it is both a slur and to ignore the community of Ashingdon. Our pitches are used. Children use our space and play areas.
Why not incorporate the fields with the heritage asset also not named - the second oldest church in England St Andrews Minster and a site of archeoological interest the site of the battle of Ashingdon in 1016 by purchasing Ashingdon Hill and allowing its use as a recreational area.
I see in other plans that a wetland be created where its currently dry and not to drain a current wetland.
Why not provide a teenage play park - basketball court, mini soccer area, skateboard facility? there is nothing for residents apart from this park for our wellbeing and you make no mention of it.
In the mists of time there was a rugby pitch, a cricket pitch as well as 6 football pitches and beautiful gardens.
Please do not discontinue these but allow them to be supported and flourish
