The Vision makes a passing and vague reference to Rochford District being a "green and pleasant place", but the emphasis is firmly on continued development of business, housing and infrastructure. The Vision should give equal weight to maintaining and creating high quality, connected, and more biodiverse landscapes, so that the Vision is consistent with creating healthy communities, and with strategic objectives 20, 21 and 23.
