For many years Rochford and the surrounding area was a small town, with appropriate roads and services to support the low volume of housing, and its rural nature of farmland, woodland and open areas. In recent years large amounts of housing development have been created with little or no consideration for the changing landscape and wildlife and no change in the available roads, doctors, schools etc.
Options could be -
Looking to work with Southend to meet housing quotas
Developing a new area into a Canewdon size village area, with appropriate road works and services appears an option..
