No provision from “cradle’ businesses to develop. People are expected to work from home and then move to industrial units. There is very little workspace provided for anything in between. There are no business start up parks (see Southwark Council they did sometime quite inspirational in setting up a community of fledgling, small businesses at Elephant and Council which had a great vibe, offering very reasonable rents and helped businesses to get off the ground). You had a great opportunity at the Dairy Crest site but did nothing there. These types of businesses need to be quite central to get the footfall but you have built on on central town space with flats. These types of businesses will not survive if shoved into an industrial park/out of town area.
