Rural communities need to stay rural! Once they get built up, then they no longer villages and will quickly turn into small towns. Many people living in the vilages, are there because of the fields / green belt / wildlife and the feeling of isolation - changing that feel will result in people moving away (potentially out of Rochford to other quiet areas - affecting local businesses).
