Two proposed locations should be subject to further testing and consideration. The proposed location North of London Road, Rayleigh, should be further examined to ensure that future infrastructure will serve the development in a timely and sufficient manner whilst also giving benefit to the existing adjoining community. The proposed development at South East Ashingdon should be further examined to ensure that the scale of development at the location would not place too much pressure on the highway network passing through Rochford town centre.
