New Local Plan: Spatial Options Document 2021

Representation ID: 38133

Received: 25/08/2021

Respondent: Craig Cannell

Representation Summary:

I would be confident the district could meet its growth requirements for open space and sports facilities through a combination of treating the needs separately and requiring different contributions from developers.

Outdoor space that improve health and wellbeing, such as parks, and biodiverse walks, should be a key part of planning large developments and new settlements.

Assuming sites that maximise catchment areas are selected, sports facilities would benefit from a hierarchical approach to off site investment.
