It is positive to see that "Making suitable and sufficient provision for climate change mitigation and adaptation, conservation and enhancement of the natural and historic environment, including landscape", is listed as Strategic Priority 5. With that in mind it feels disjointed that the draft vision statement for Rochford in 2050 makes no mention of climate change mitigation.
Strategic Priority 2 has well intended Objectives listed however feels underwhelming when contrasted against challenges High Streets currently, and will continue to, face.
