Representation Summary:

10.36 The Essex Landscape Character Assessment 2003 recognises that traditional landscape characters - such as the Crouch Valley - need particular protection from landscape or development change. A specific assessment was undertaken in 2005 for the coastline; the Landscape Character Assessment of the Essex Coast. This identified landscape character areas including: Crouch Estuary and River Crouch. These areas broadly align with the Coastal Protection Belt. The Essex Wildlife Trust have identified the Crouch and other areas as 'living landscapes'.
So important to protect these areas and NOT build houses on or near Coastal Protection Belt in Hullbridge.
