9.12 There are a range of community facilities throughout the district, which includes local shops, meeting places, libraries, sports venues, cultural buildings, public houses and places of worship. These facilities tend to be well used and provide an important role for communities.
However, Hullbridge library has had its hours cut considerably and now only operates 4 half days a week. This is detrimental to the residents of the village, in particular young children and old people.
