I think the inspector has been very thoughtful in stopping houses being built on the west of church lane, however I think to build 49 houses on the new plan is still a wrong decision. The church is still the major issue here, and visually the build of 49 houses would do considerable damage to the views and heritage of the church. When you think about most households have two cars, we could be looking at about 100 extra cars around that plot, which is a lot when you think about the serenity around the church land at the moment.
