Suitable housing for other social groups in Canewdon -
The DEMAND is for smaller accomodation, elderly persons residing here for a lifetime, many live in 3/4 bed houses on their own. Family housing exists already but there is little opportunity to downsize here, currently sections of society, (the old, couples and 1 parent families) + energy prices increasing these groups must move out for adequate housing. The demographic of elderly people is rising - developers should consider Canewdons demand - a higher proportion of smaller homes, rather than a smaller proportion of larger homes
