London Southend Airport and Environs Joint Area Action Plan Submission Document

Representation ID: 32090

Received: 22/03/2013

Respondent: Mr Tom Clark

Representation Summary:

The green buffer to the east of the Airport station is very low quality green belt, and should be utilised for a bus and rail transport interchange, as well as facilitating access to the station for car drop-offs and foot passengers obviating the need to enter the airport (as at present which adds to congestion at the shopping mall/airport entrance).
'SERT' style services would be better enabled, particularly if a service route to town centre established through Temple Farm.
