none of the proposed oiptions answer the need for hockley in my view. It is unclear what shops will be demolished and re developed, I cannot work out if Seemore glass will be demolished and therefore lost,this company is long estrablished and respected and would be great loss to the locality
I would suggest that all that is needed is to tidy up the existing properties in the high street and ensure they are structuly sound.
If extra housing is needed I would support the use of part of the Railway Station car park adjacent to Plumberow Avenue for housing and developemnt of the land on the other side for more parking.
