London Southend Airport & Environs Joint Area Action Plan Issues & Options Paper

Representation ID: 2006

Received: 07/08/2008

Respondent: Mr Roy Munro

Representation Summary:

It seems that the present road infrastructure is barely adequate to support present traffic levels and increased activity at the airport will only exacerbate the issue and no doubt lead to a demand for changes. Thus the implications of any airport expansion are far reaching and the no doubt detrimental impacts must be comprehensively investigated for both the short and long term, they must not be confined solely to what development of the airport may (or may not) be undertaken neither entered into blindly.
