All of our town centres are used as a cut through so whether developing the town locations or the outer fringes will cause increased traffic generation, although if the developments are located in town then the residents may be better encouraged to use the train networks rather than cars and in fact the traffic density may not increase if the developments have good direct access to the rail network.
